Laser Hair Reduction At Luxxery
Tired of irritating shaving and waxing? At Luxxery, Dr. Hakki’s team uses cutting edge technology with the Cutera Xeo Laser®. The procedure is extremely effective in reducing hair growth for extended periods of time. The state-of-the-art Cutera Xeo Laser is versatile, accommodating the diverse skin types and colors of Luxxery’s clientele. Not only can the machine treat all skin types, it also has the ability to treat larger areas.
What is Laser Hair Reduction?
There are just a few steps involved in laser hair reduction. When actively growing hair is struck with the laser beam, it is either destroyed or sent into a resting phase. In order to treat the actively growing hair, Luxxery patients are encouraged to order a laser hair reduction package, as the actively growing hair and the resting hair emerge at different times. This is why multiple treatments are necessary in order to catch each hair when it is in its active phase.
Recovery
Timing of the procedure depends on the surface area of hair and how much the patient has requested to be reduced. After the procedure, treated skin may be mildly irritated. This will go away in one to two days.

What is Skin Tightening?
Luxxery’s state-of-the-art Cutera Titan® hand piece utilizes a safe, infrared light to heat the dermis below the skin’s surface. The skin’s top surface is protected during the treatment through continuous cooling with the hand piece. The heat promotes collagen production and procedures immediate contraction, resulting in tightening of the jaw line, chin, abdomen and arms.
Laser Skin Rejuvenation
Luxxery uses the Cutera Xeo laser for pigment and blemish removing, to clear blotchy, unsmooth skin. The unique technique works on stimulation of collagen that rejuvenates and tones all skin types and colors.
Chemical Skin Rejuvenation
Luxxery uses a TCA peel in order to remove the superficial layer of the skin, making the skin smooth while also promoting new skin growth. Studies have shown that under the microscope, skin that is treated with a peel has a higher level of cellular growth (mitosis).

The Cutera Xeo along with the Yag Laser application is an effective tool for removing unsightly spider veins. Anesthesia is not required for this procedure and the recovery period is minimal. Sometimes more then one treatment is necessary as this procedure is offered in a package.
Using the Cutera Xeo laser, Dr. Hakki and his staff treat acne scarring, dark spots and hyper pigmentation on all skin types. The Laser Genesis hand piece is used to improve texture and blend the complexion.
